Panther Throwback Night will bring generations of Snohomish Panthers back to Veterans Memorial Stadium to celebrate the legacy of Panther football. The evening honors the 50-year anniversary of the undefeated 1976/1978 Panther teams while welcoming alumni, families, and the community together for one unforgettable rivalry night. Join us September 11, 2026 at SHS as Snohomish takes on Glacier Peak in a celebration of tradition, hometown pride, and Panther history.
A Time of Tradition and Remembrance
Panther Throwback Night carries special meaning for our community. This year’s Snohomish vs Glacier Peak rivalry falls on the 25 year anniversary of September 11, and the evening will include a moment of remembrance honoring those who serve and sacrifice for our country.
Fittingly, this match-up is also the annual Red, White, and Blue rivalry, as Snohomish takes the field in red and white against Glacier Peak’s blue and white at Veterans Memorial Stadium.

Panther Throwback Night is more than a football game. It’s a celebration of Snohomish tradition, bringing together Panther alumni, families, and fans from across generations for an unforgettable evening at Veterans Memorial Stadium.
The night will feature throwback uniforms inspired by the classic Panther era, a community tailgate with food trucks and music, a special halftime ceremony honoring the teams that helped shape Snohomish football, and more. From pregame tailgating to the Snohomish vs Glacier Peak rivalry under the lights, Panther Throwback Night will be a night for the entire community to come together and celebrate Panther pride.

Community Tailgate
Kick off the evening with a community tailgate in the Promenade at Snohomish High School. Enjoy local food trucks, music, and time to reconnect with friends, neighbors, and Panther alumni before the Snohomish vs Glacier Peak rivalry kicks off.

Throwback Uniforms
The Panthers will take the field in throwback uniforms inspired by the classic Snohomish teams of past decades. Fans can join the celebration by purchasing a custom throwback jersey in their own number and showing their Panther pride.

Halftime Ceremony
At halftime, we will recognize the legendary undefeated 1976 and 1978 Panther teams. Former players will return to the field once more as we honor their place in Snohomish football history and celebrate the legacy they helped build.
